Happy New Year!
The number of new COVID-19 infections was on the decline towards the end of last year in Japan.
In Nagoya, not far from where I live, many shoppers were out on the streets as if they were letting off steam. I am sure many people in Japan had a slightly luxurious New Year.
How did you celebrate the New Year?
I would like to hope that the COVID-19 epidemic will come to an end, but in vain, the number of newly infected people in Japan is rapidly increasing.
We have to continue to take measures against infection by wearing masks, washing hands, gargling, and avoiding the “Three Cs” that we are used to.
I sincerely hope that the new year will be a healthy and fruitful one for everyone. I look forward to working with you again this year.
